I love cherry clafoutis! I am not a sweet enthusiast (but I am more and more since a year or so...) but I really like this clafoutis. This is one of the recipes I love from my grand mother (in addition to the rhubarb pie and stuffed tomatoes). My hubby did like it too :) (but he would be one of the person who would remove the stones of the cherries ;))

Ingredients:
600g cherries
40g butter
4 eggs
20cl milk
100g flour
30g sugar
1 pinch of salt
Direction:
1. Preheat the oven at 200°C (400°F).
2. Rinse the cherries. Normally the stones should not be removed, this would change the cooking and the texture of the clafoutis. Personally I do not remove them. However, for practical purpose, it may be better to remove them (do don't break a tooth! or if young kids are eating them).
3. Grease a baking dish with butter. Place the cherries in the baking dish.
4. Heat the butter in a hot pan, do not burn it!
5. Mix together butter, eggs, flour, sugar, and salt. Slowly incorporate the milk.
6. Poor the mix on the top of the cherries and baked in the oven for 10min at 200°C and then 20-30 more minutes at 180°C.
Bon appétit!
