I love sautéed green beans, I think they do a wonderful side dish for any kind of meat :)
Print Recipe |
Ingredients:
300g of green beans, ends trimmed
2 garlic (or more, or less), thinly sliced
1 onion, sliced
handful of pumpkin seeds
Salt and pepper
olive oil to cook
Direction:
1. Trim the ends of your beans. This is the boring and long part ;). Blanch the beans in a stock pot of salted boiling water for 10 min. Rinse in cold water to stop from cooking.
2. In the meantime, sauteed the garlic, onion, and pumpkin seeds in a pan with a little bit of olive oil for 5-10 minutes.
3. Add the beans and stirred for 5 more minutes. Add salt and pepper.
Bon appétit!
