It has been a while since I prepared mussels. This is a very classic but very good recipe! Enjoy <3

Ingredients:
700g mussels
1tsp butter
60ml white wine (I used pino grogio)
100ml heavy cream
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
2 shallots, finely chopped
3 celery stalks, chopped
Parsley, chopped
Salt and pepper
Direction:
1. Wash the mussels under cold water. Discard the ones that remain open when you touch them.
2. In a deep pan, heat butter and cook garlic and shallots 2 minutes. Add celery and cook for another 3 minutes.
3. Add mussels, wine, cream, parsley, salt and pepper. Cover and cook for 5 minutes. Discard the mussels that remain close after that.
4. Serve the mussels with the sauce in large bowls.
I usually prepare french fries when I do mussels. You can find a very very simple recipe here: http://www.daybydayrecipe.com/2014/08/french-fries-very-easy-and-fat-free.html
Bon appétit!
