This is a very good gratin!! My husband and I loved it. And this so easy to do... Perfect!

Ingredients:
3 courgettes, sliced
2 onions, sliced
400g can of chopped tomatoes
700g minced beef (we used a mix of minced beef and mixed pork)
Herbs, like origan, basil, etc.. (we used a mix of Herbes de provences)
1tbsp olive oil
200g mozzarella cheese, shredded (or another cheese like cheddar)
3tbsp parmesan, grated
Salt and pepper
Direction:
1. Spread salt on the courgette and let stand for 20 min.
2. Heat olive oil and sautée onions. Add the meat and cook it until no more pink. Add the tomatoes, some herbs, and salt and pepper to taste. Cook for another 5 minutes.
3. Place half of the courgette on the bottom of a baking dish.
4. Then place half of the meat.
5. Then half of the cheese.
6. Repeat (courgette, meat, cheese). Add grated parmesan on the top.
7. Cook for 30 min or until golden.
Serve with:
A salad! Of course ;)
Tip:
We ate the other half of our dish the day after, I baked it again and it was even better :)
